Michigan Opera Theatre Live Performance Wows HFA: Elementary School Students

Our 2nd-5th grade students were recently treated to a Michigan Opera Theatre performance. Performed in both Spanish and English, "How Nanita Learned to Make Flan" is based on the popular children's book of the same name by Campbell Geeslin. The compelling story weaves elements of Mexican culture into a magical tale with love and food at its core. The performance featured four amazingly talented opera singers and colorful sets and costumes. Thank you to the Michigan Opera Theatre for bringing this experience to our school!
