Math will be key for many of the exciting, real-life jobs of the future. On Pi Day (3.14) Ford Motor Company helped high school students from Henry Ford Academy (Dearborn) and Henry Ford Academy: School for Creative Studies look at math, vehicles, and careers in a whole new way. Ford engineer Gil Portalatin explained how math shapes the ride and overall design of the 2013 Ford Escape. The students were excited -- and determined -- to apply mathematical equations to features on the new vehicle.
